CarolinaEast Health System and the Sumner Group were recently announced as winners in the 39th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards. The recognition came as four individual awards in several categories for campaigns developed during 2021. The campaigns included print, outdoor, radio and TV.
The awards were in the following categories:
Newspaper advertisement for CarolinaEast's "World's Best Hospitals" designation, as recognized by Newsweek magazine. Art direction and design by Anthony Rodriguez.
Total advertising campaign, with TV, for CarolinaEast's cardiac care services. Art direction: Jacque Sumner, Mike Sumner, Anthony Rodriguez. Design: Anthony Rodriguez. TV produced in partnership with Nowsay.
This year over 4,400 entries were received, making the awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition and one of the ten largest of all advertising awards. The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition. Gold awards were given to 512 entries, silver awards to 360 entries and bronze awards to 249 entries.
A national panel of judges were engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.
