New Work: Telco Credit Union

It’s been a busy year for us here at The Sumner Group, and we’re excited to be adding to our diverse roster of clients.

Founded in 1941, Telco Credit Union is one of North Carolina’s oldest credit unions. From its humble beginnings as a 19-member collective, Telco has grown to service thousands of members in eastern North Carolina. As part of their continued growth and service to the community, Telco began plans to open a new branch in Greenville. The time was right to re-think their identity, brand positioning and marketing strategies.

The Sumner Group was hired to bring a fresh viewpoint to the above facets of Telco’s presence in the marketplace, starting with a new logo and position line.

Telco’s new logo features coastal colors and a speech bubble evoking the roots of Carolina Telephone while representing the individuality of each member. The position line, “you can belong here” calls to mind a sense of community while communicating a sense of belonging.

The Sumner Group also will be rolling out a multimedia campaign this Fall to include print, outdoor and internet components.

New Clients for TSG

We’re pleased to announce the addition of three new clients to our diverse list of creative partners: GSM Services, Wirth Chiropractic & Active Living Center and Stubbs Perdue.

Since 1927, GSM Services has been serving the Greater Charlotte area by providing residential heating and cooling solutions, commercial HVAC & roofing solutions, energy services and more. The Sumner Group was retained to increase brand visibility and awareness in the region. As phase one of our partnership, we refreshed GSM’s logo for their entire service line, produced a new TV campaign, and implemented an outdoor campaign. We also have plans for a strategic marketing session in the fall in preparation for phase two.

Wirth Chiropractic & Active Living Center is one of the largest chiropractic care centers in the Greater Greenville area. We were happy to roll out an entire company re-brand, complete with new logo, direct mail and a Public Relations campaign over the past few months. We also produced numerous TV spots, and completed a Strategic Marketing Communication Plan over the Spring.

Finally, we’re thrilled to add Stubbs Perdue, a multi-disciplinary Law Firm, to our roster of clients. We completed a logo refresh, TV and radio spots, outdoor production, and a direct mail campaign. Plans are underway for a Marketing Session this Fall to prepare for the next phase of their advertising and promotions.

We’re really excited to be working with these and other fine companies. Stay tuned for more Agency News.
